I'm a mother of two and grandmother of one. I've been a teacher and now am an instructor of ESL. My father was Maurice "Morris, Moshe" Goldfoot of Portland, Oregon. His father was Nathan Goldfoot, born in "Russia", which was Telsiai, Lithuania, and his father was Chaim Itzak Goldfoot of Lithuania. Census said Russia, but family said Lithuania. He married Hattie Jermulowske of Lazdijai, Lithuania. My mother's father was Frank Hugh Robinson born in Wenona, Illinois in 1870. His parents were Abiathar Smith Robinson and Julia Ann Tullerof Royalton, Vermont. I have found many of Julia Ann's family and think I have found his. That's what I'm looking for. He said his people came from Vermont, and that they came over not on the Mayflower, but the ship after it. On Julia Ann's side I have traced the family back to Warren who signed the Mayflower Compact. I think he meant the Robinsons came over on the next ship. Besides many Tuller/Tullars, there are many Durkees on Julia's side. I enjoy searching the family's genealogy very much. I lived in Israel from 1980-1985 and taught EFL. Then I wrote a book upon return called "Letters from Israel" found at www.amazon.com.
